Blithe Spirit
Noël Coward's comedy about a novelist, a séance, and two very persistent wives. Book early — the last Coward we staged sold out its second weekend.
Amateur dramatics, done with love — and quite a lot of paint.
We are a friendly amateur dramatics society that has been treading the boards for over forty years. Every year we stage a full-length play, a pantomime and a summer revue, and everyone — from first-timers to old hands — is welcome both on stage and behind the curtain.
What keeps us going is the company: rehearsals are as much a social evening as a working one, and the set-building weekends are legendary. No experience is required for anything, only enthusiasm.

Our annual family pantomime, with the traditional singalong, the traditional slo-mo chase, and entirely untraditional costumes.
Auditions are open to everyone and are deliberately gentle — you read from the script in small groups, nobody is asked to perform alone. Rehearsals run two evenings a week for eight weeks before a show.
Lighting, sound, props, costumes and set-building all run on volunteers. If you would rather be in the dark waving a torch than in the light forgetting your lines, this is the place for you.
Front of house, tickets, refreshments and publicity keep every show running. It is the easiest way to help, and you still get to watch the play.
